When we speak of “healthy men,” it’s important to recognize that men are tremendously diverse in terms of race, socioeconomic status, marital and parent status, and gender identity—with each man and boy having unique health challenges.
Healthy Men Inc., is committed to serving the broad spectrum of boys, men and those who identify as male in our society. We are also committed to creating, growing and governing our non-profit organization in an effective way with best-in-class policies, procedures and practices.

Content
Develop and deliver consumer-facing educational content (written and digital) to educate men and boys about important heath issues–mental and physical–including specific health conditions, treatments, and vaccines, and fatherhood.
Policy
Support and advocate for policies, comprehensive wellness, healthcare, and access to related services that that support health equity for all males and enhance the wellness and healthcare needs of all in a manner that is respectful and mindful of genders, lifestyles, and personal preferences.
Consult
Provide consulting services to healthcare and related organizations that wish to engage with boys and men on how to develop and promote health and wellness services, products, and programs that are relevant to–and resonate with–the unique preferences and needs of boys and men and their families.
Resources
Serve as a resource for patient-focused and healthcare-professional-focused groups to help them optimize their outreach to boys and men. This includes resources, workshops, and other educational opportunities to help providers recognize and address men’s and boys’ unique health preferences and needs so they can better engage with and serve their patients
Educate
Educate the public and policymakers—via blogs, op-eds, speaking engagements, media appearances, webinars, and social media—about boys and men’s unique health preferences and needs.
Messaging
Design and disseminate public-awareness messaging designed to educate men, women, service providers, legislators, and others about existing health disparities and the importance of supporting men, boys, and fathers
Public Awareness
Increase public awareness of the many ways that men’s and boys’ physical and mental health concerns also affect women, children, the economy, and society as a whole—and the substantial costs we all bear when male health issues are ignored.

Jean Bonhomme, MD, MPH
Co-Founder and Chief Medical Advisor
National Black Men’s Health Network
Dr. Jean Bonhomme is an expert on men’s health, minority health, and the impact of poor men’s health on families. He is the founder of the National Black Men’s Health Network and member of the Board of Directors as well as a former member of Men’s Health Network Board of Directors. From 2003 to the present, he has served as corporate president and chairman of the Steering Committee for CHAMPS (Community Health and Men’s Promotion Summit), providing free health screenings to economically disadvantaged minority males. Dr. Bonhomme practices as a staff physician for American Clinics for Preventive Medicine in Marietta, Georgia and from 2008-2020 was an Assistant Professor at Morehouse School of Medicine.
He has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Men’s Health, and from 2006 to the present on the editorial board of the American Journal of Men’s Health. Dr. Bonhomme earned a bachelor of arts degree with honors, College of the City of New York, and a doctor of medicine, at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. His postgraduate medical education includes categorical internal medicine and psychiatry, Grady Memorial Hospital and Emory University Affiliated Hospitals, and a master’s degree, public health, Emory University with a concentration in Epidemiology.
Armin Brott
Co-Founder, President, and Chief Communications Officer
Armin Brott is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of men, boys, and those who care about them. He’s a nationally recognized authority on men’s health; author of Blueprint for Men’s Health, Your Head: An Owner’s Manual, and other books on the topic; co-founder of Healthy Men Inc.; host of the nationally syndicated “Positive Parenting” radio show and podcasts; and creator of the nationally syndicated “Healthy Men” column. He’s also a pioneering thought leader in the field of fatherhood whose best-selling books include The Expectant Father, The New Father, The Single Father, and Father for Life. His columns, radio shows, public speaking, and extensive media appearances have helped millions of men around the world become the fathers they want to be—and that their children need them to be. Brott has also been a moderator and/or participant in numerous panels on men’s health and has had the honor to speak about men’s health and fatherhood in Congressional briefings and at the White House. He has three grown children and lives near San Francisco, California.
Dr. Salvatore (Sal) J. Giorgianni, Jr., PharmD

Co-Founder & Chair-Emeritus, American Public Health Association Men’s Health Caucus
Dr. Giorgianni is a men’s health advocate, activist, and leading voice for the health and welfare of boys, men, and their families. He comes to this work with professional experience in health care delivery and services, academia, pharmaceutical industry, and public policy. He has held faculty appointments at both Columbia University in New York city and at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. He is co-founder and Chair-Emeritus of the American Public Health Association Men’s Health Caucus, former board member of the Columbia University School of Public Health Alumni Association, the American Osteopathic Foundation, and the National Association for Continence. He also serves as the Senior Science Advisor to Men’s Health Network, a national non-profit.
Dr. Giorgianni is the author or co-author of over 100 peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations and is an editor/reviewer for the American Journal of Men’s Health. He is a recognized expert in comprehensive men’s health; the effect of culture, advertising, and socialization on male engagement and perceptions of wellness; healthcare; and pharmaceuticals. He speaks frequently on these topics to a broad range of public and private sector audiences, including Congressional briefings, US Department of Health and Human Services, and business organizations. He is also a regular guest on several regional and national radio talk programs, where he discusses a variety of health issues, including comprehensive men’s health and COVID.
Dr. Giorgianni received his Doctorate and Bachelor of Pharmacy degrees from Columbia University and completed an accredited two-year clinical practice residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He is a licensed pharmacist in his home state of New York. In Florida, he holds both a general and consultant pharmacist license. In addition to his general and specialist studies in pharmacy, he has completed formal training in pharmacognosy and the preparation and use of natural botanicals as well as pharmacogenomics and pharmaceutical compounding and medication therapy management.
